[ARCHIVED] Vermillion Players to Present Dinner Cabaret on October 27th

The Vermillion Players, in association with Pontiac Tourism has announced the first performance of their annual winter Dinner and A Show series. On October 27, at 6:30 PM, the Players will present a musical revue based on some of the best music from Broadway and Hollywood through the years. The show will be presented at the Pontiac Elks Club and the music will be preceded by a delicious meal.

Headlining the performance will be Julie Peterson, one of Pontiac’s best songstresses. Supporting her will be a cast taken from the many talented singers who regularly perform with the Vermillion Players. Songs will be taken from a range of eras in American musical history, including Vaudeville, the days of Tin Pan Alley, the heydays of the Broadway musical, and of course, from some of the hit movies of the last century.

Reservations are required and must be made by October 19th with Pontiac Tourism. Meal choices include either a pork tenderloin with scaloppini sauce or a chicken parmesan entrée. All meals will include new roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, tossed salad, rolls & butter and coffee. Meal choices should be made at the same time as reservations. Tickets are $25 per person and include the meal, the show, and an intermission dessert service.
