[ARCHIVED] Saturday search reveals no clues for Mr. Lowery

Ground searches continued Saturday 12/26/2015 in the Louis Lowery missing person investigation without any success in locating Mr. Lowery. The search focused on re-searching areas mainly rural to the north and to the east of Pontiac. Search teams consisted of trained and certified search and rescue persons and K-9 teams from across the state. The searches were managed by the McLean County Emergency Management Agency and the Livingston County Emergency Management Agency. Efforts were coordinated with the assistance of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System and the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System. Pontiac Police, Pontiac Fire, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police and Duffy’s Ambulance Service also assisted. The case remains under investigation. Searches will resume on Sunday 12/27/2015. ###
