[ARCHIVED] Pontiac Community Art Center Gallery Art Show: ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’

Just in time for Halloween, the Pontiac Community Art Center presents their October Gallery Show, ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’, opening on Thursday, October 1. This eerie theme opens itself up for a wide variety of artistic interpretations, as the title is derived from multiple sources.

‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’ is the title of a fantasy film based on a Ray Bradbury novel of the same name. This quote was originally chanted by Shakespeare's trio of witches in his play ‘Macbeth’. In Harry Potter's ‘Prisoner of Azkaban’, this poem was sung by a student choir.
The gallery show will feature artwork in diverse mediums created by many of the art center's members, and will be on display from October 1 through October 31.

The Pontiac Community Art Center gallery located at 103 W. Madison St., Pontiac. Regular hours for the Art Center are Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm, Saturday, 10am - 4pm, and Sunday 12pm - 4pm. The show runs through October 31. The Public is Welcome.
