Downtown Pontiac is excited to have a public kick-off open house on Tuesday, January 24 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center!

We’ve been working with our small retailers downtown for several years now and are excited to include the whole community in this project. As an Affiliate Member of Main Street America and Illinois Main Street, our mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance the historic downtown district and to create partnerships that stimulate economic activity and growth throughout the community. As a Main Street Community we work within the framework of the Four Point Approach (Design, Promotion, Organization, and Economic Vitality) using Transformation Strategies that reflect the values of the community. The open house will answers questions like "what is a Main Street Community?" "who is Downtown Pontiac?" "How can I get involved?" and "will my voice be heard?"

We want Downtown Pontiac to reflect the vibrant community we’re in so if you live, work, or play in Pontiac we encourage you to stop by on Tuesday, January 24 from 6-8PM!
