Are you interested in learning more about the technical side of theatre? Want to be involved but not be on stage? This event is for you! We'll be hosting back-to-back Intro to Lighting and Intro to Sound workshops with the goal of expanding the community's knowledge of technical roles in the theatre and gaining new volunteers to assist with programming and running sound and/or lights for future productions.

There is no cost to attend this workshop and anyone interested in learning is welcome to attend. We do ask that all attendees are high school age or older.

The lighting workshop will run 1-3 and the sound workshop will run 3:15-5:15. Participants are welcome to attend both or either workshop.

The lighting workshop will cover lighting colors and angles, focus basics, and light board basics.

The sound workshop will cover signal flow, types of microphones, and sound board basics.

The workshop will take place at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center (319 N. Plum St., Pontiac).
