Ongoing Programs
Card Games
Join us every Wednesday at 1:00pm in the Community Room inside the rec center for various card games! Groups play Euchre, Hearts, 500, Dirty Spades, Pinochle, Skip-Bo, and many others. Free to rec center members.
Walking Club
Our walking club board next to the elevated perimeter track inside the rec center challenges you to walk a little farther. Count your laps around the track and translate them into miles: 10 laps = 1 mile. Add up your miles over time and walk your way from one destination to the next! Free to rec center members.
- Current Walking Club Challenge: walk from Pontiac, Michigan to Pontiac, Illinois (409.9 total miles)
Open-Gym Pickleball
Free for rec center members or $5.00 drop-in fee for non-members

Fitness Classes
The rec center offers two fitness classes geared toward seniors: Body Toning for Seniors and SilverSneakers Classic. More information on these fitness classes is available here!
Community Room (inside Community Recreation Center)
Drink fresh, daily-made coffee, watch TV, read the newspaper, lounge on the couches, play board games, card games, and more. Free to rec center members.
