The Pontiac Public Library relies on annual charitable donations to the general operating fund and special projects in order to continue to offer an ever-growing collection, implement modern technology and digital services, expand local programming, and maintain the library facilities. There are many ways your support can make a difference!
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations may be made to a specific library activity (Children's programming, local history collection, etc). You may also donate to the library's general operating expenses or to our building fund. In any case, your donation will be greatly appreciated.
Memorial Books
Memorial books must be purchased by the library. Please do not bring in books purchased elsewhere. Memorial books may focus on a specific topic or author. Please consult with a librarian about a memorial book donation. The library appreciates all memorial book donations, and will make selections based on both the wishes of the donor and the needs of our collection.
Living Bookshelf Mural
The Pontiac Public Library Living Bookshelf is the newest way to honor a loved one or their memory and support the Library at the same time! Purchase one of the books on our bookshelf mural. The spine of the book can be printed with either “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of” and the name of your loved one. Your book will be on permanent display on the bookshelf mural. Businesses can have their business name printed on the spine!
