Library Board of Trustees

The Pontiac Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees. The board meets once a month and meetings are open to the public.

Board Meeting Day and Time

The Pontiac Public Library's Board of Trustees meets on the Second Monday of each month unless it falls on a holiday. If the regular meeting occurs on a holiday, the meeting will be held on the Tuesday following. Board meetings begin at 5:30 PM at the library.

Our Mission

The Pontiac Public Library's Board of Trustees works collaboratively with the library director and staff to provide our community with a useful and welcoming place that offers equal access to the world of ideas and information. We strongly support lifelong learning.
