American Red Cross Evening of Stars

 Two City employees of Pontiac Parks and Recreation Department Lori Gould and Nancy Cortez and two local teachers Lynn Verdun and Deanna Steffens were honored recently at the American Red Cross Evening of Stars on Thursday April 29, 2010.

They were honored for saving Al Voytas by performing CPR and using the AED, on his first trip to the Recreation Center when he collapsed.

The speaker of the night was Cal Ripkin Jr.

2nd Annual "Touch-A-Truck"

Our 2nd annual "Touch-A-Truck" was held on May 1, 2010,  with over 200 local children attending, the event was a huge success.

We would like to thank everyone who made this event the best "Touch-A-Truck" to date.
