Recycle Drop Box Information
Drop Box is now available after hours!
The City of Pontiac has placed a bulk recycle drop box for use by the community. The box is located at the Street Dept. Maintenance Facility on the east side of Pontiac near Jaycee Park.
The container is BLUE in color and is located adjacent in the area between the Jaycee Park fence and green maintenance shed. As you drive in from Water Street, pull straight ahead and it is in plain view.
The box accepts co-mingled recyclables; materials do not have to separated and can be placed anywhere INSIDE the dumpster. If you should have any questions or need assistance, please stop by the office of the main garage and a staff member will be happy to help you.
This unit will accept any items that you would place at the curb for pickup. Here is a detailed list of items that will and will not be accepted in this container:
